On September 8th at 4 pm, a dedication ceremony took place to rename the library the Roger Clark Memorial Library with the aid of full color guard. Library in Nebraska, Roger Clark Memorial Library in Vermont, Delta Community Library in Alaska, and Irene S. In 1973, the library found a permanent home in the basement of the Town Office building. RCML, formerly The Pittsfield Free Library, originated in 1901, was operated out of the homes of library board members and volunteers. Meet Roger’s family to hear his story and see us unveil part one of our two part rededication to display more of his story on the wall that contains his personal books. Roger Clark Memorial is a Library (in Pittsfield, VT). We have added some new books to our collection, dedicated to Veterans and war stories for all ages and will read one of these books for kids entitled, Veterans: Heroes In our Neighborhood, originally published in 2012, by author Valerie Pfundstein and illustrator Aaron Anderson. libraries and non-profits across Vermont. The Roger Clark Memorial Library is open to the public on Tuesdays, 10 am. We welcome individuals of all ages to attend.
